Mexico is bigger than one might think; the country has 38 states and very different landscapes, from desert to jungle to mountainous. So far, I’ve been to Sinaloa, Baja California Sur, Mexico City, Jalisco, and gone through Nayarit by bus.
I had planned to travel throughout Mexico by bus, so I created the map below, where I marked the cities I’ve visited with pins, red for where I stayed over night, blue for places I just visited during the day. I was going to update this map to show my travel progress.
I have recently decided that I might go somewhere else instead, away from Mexico for a while. Once I’ve made a definitive decision, I will post a new blog post about that. For now, I will leave this map as a marker of the few places I have seen in Mexico, and I can always expand it later when or if I come back.
Well the map helps with getting a picture in my head of where you might be. Maybe do that for the next country too!
